Used the recommended measurements for 5 different leadcore rods today But the Blood Run Tackle chart for for Walleye Copper Trolling Wire shows a similar picture I see in the chart with 200 feet of line out it indicates a 10 foot difference between 2 0 MPH and 2 5 MPH But 1 5 MPH to 2 0 shows a depth change of 24 Feet and 1 5 MPH to 2 5 MPH a 1 0 MPH change shows a depth change of 33 Feet
Check the blood run site for the dive charts if you fish the bottom at 60 then you ll prob need the full 300 If you are fishing shallower depths look at the various setups they outline for shorter runs of the 20lb walleye copper Attached are some depth charts I found online that illustrates what you said I can t really find one for how much a Dipsy is affected by speedso I guess I will have to make one next season But I attached charts for Copper and a Torpedo
